‘Beyond the Mahjong Table: A Taste of China’ is an intimate cultural dining experience that brings our community together around delicious and authentic Asian food. Come curious, come hungry, and leave with new flavors, new stories, and new friends！Your ticket is not simply for dinner—it’s an invitation to experience China through the warmth of its table. While Mahjong is often the first way people discover our community, there is so much more to explore beyond the tiles. This evening invites you to step into Chinese culture through food, conversation, and connection—and experience authentic culture event and workshop right here in Omaha. Forget choosing from a menu- Just take your seat and let us surprise you. Throughout the evening, you’ll be introduced to a selection of authentic Chinese dishes representing different flavors, regions, and traditions. From familiar favorites to dishes you may have never tried before, each course is an opportunity to discover something new. We may also share the stories, traditions, and cultural meaning behind the food, making the dinner feel less like a restaurant visit and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. This is part of our growing cultural community, where Mahjong is only the beginning. Along with our weekly Mahjong nights, we’re creating opportunities to experience Chinese culture together—from communal dinners and dumpling-making class to exploring Asian markets and discovering traditions that are rarely experienced outside of China.
